About Ann Marie

Ann Marie is an Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Bodyworker with extensive training in Traditional and Classical Chinese Medicine and integrative healing therapies. Her work is trauma aware and centred on supporting the body’s own innate capacity for self-healing, balance and regulation.

She combines acupuncture, hands-on bodywork, herbal medicine, and nervous system focused approaches to support physical health, emotional wellbeing, and overall vitality. Treatments are individualised, with care taken to meet each person where they are, and to create a safe, respectful, and supportive therapeutic environment.

Ann Marie has trained in Chinese Medicine both in Ireland and abroad, studying through the lenses of both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Classical Chinese Medicine.  Alongside Acupuncture, she has a strong foundation in hands-on therapies, including Tui Na and Craniosacral Therapy, which have deepened her understanding of the nervous system and its central role in health and resilience.

Ann Marie’s postgraduate and continuing education includes Women’s Health and Fertility, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Breathwork facilitation, trauma informed therapeutic practices, and Advanced Shamanic Practices. Although her approach is trauma aware, Ann Marie works just as often with people seeking support for general health concerns, stress, or ongoing wellbeing.

A core focus of her practice is the relationship between the nervous system, subconscious patterns, and health. She regularly works with people where symptoms are influenced by stress, long-term tensions, emotional overwhelm, or habitual ways the body has learned to respond to life’s challenges.

In addition to one-to-one clinical work, Ann Marie facilitates workshops, retreats, and community events, and also offers training for therapists and students that is ethical, practical, and built on real clinical experience.

She is also a Teaching Assistant with Upledger and an ongoing Clinical Supervisor for post graduate trainings in Classical Chinese Medicine and Tui Na both in Ireland and abroad.

Outside of practice, she supports her own wellbeing through regular Nei Gong, time in nature, and travelling abroad for ongoing engagement with traditional healing cultures.

Ann Marie is a member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association (AFPA). Her treatments are recognised by many health insurance providers and may be eligible for reimbursement.
